Steady support for whatever you’re carrying.
Therapy for adults working through attachment trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and big life changes, with a special focus on women’s mental health and the seasons of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting.

About
Hi, I’m Morgan.
I’ve always been curious about how people work: the why behind what we feel and do. That curiosity drew me to this work. What keeps me here is the meaning I find in sitting with people in their hardest moments. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to be truly seen and witnessed.
I also believe healing happens in relationship. Much of my work centers on attachment trauma: the ways our earliest relationships shape how we see ourselves, handle stress, and connect with the people we love. The relationship we build in therapy is a big part of how those patterns begin to change. I work with adults of all ages and especially enjoy working with young adults.
Becoming a mom also showed me firsthand how hard that transition can be, and what it’s like to care for your own mental health while raising kids. That’s why I chose to specialize in perinatal mental health.
Clients describe me as warm, steady, calming, and laid back. I studied at Brigham Young University and earned my master’s degree at Grand Canyon University.

A specialty
Perinatal mental health
Pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood can stir up more than anyone warns you about. I support women from pregnancy through postpartum and the rest of motherhood, in a space where nothing you feel is too much to say out loud.
Together we work on what’s weighing on you, build coping tools that fit real life with a baby, and use EMDR to process a hard birth or the old attachment wounds that new parenthood can bring back up.
You might be dealing with
- Postpartum depression or anxiety
- Intrusive or frightening thoughts, including worries about your baby’s safety
- A birth that was traumatic or didn’t go the way you hoped
- Pregnancy loss or grief
- Feeling disconnected from your baby
- Exhaustion, burnout, and running on no sleep
- Feeling alone, or like you’ve lost track of who you are
How I work
EMDR at the center
What is EMDR?
When something painful happens, the memory can get stuck: it still feels raw, and it keeps setting off the same fear, shame, or hurt long after it’s over. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps your brain finish processing it. While you briefly hold the memory in mind, we use bilateral stimulation, like guided eye movements or tapping. Over time the memory loses its charge and starts to feel like something that happened, not something still happening.
You don’t have to retell everything
You share only what you’re comfortable sharing. The processing happens without going over every detail out loud.
It works on the root
Some things make sense in your head but still feel true in your body, like “it wasn’t my fault.” EMDR helps that understanding sink in.
It helps when talk therapy feels stuck
If you understand your story but still feel the same, EMDR offers a different way through.
It’s well researched
EMDR is one of the most studied trauma therapies and is recommended by the World Health Organization for PTSD. It also helps with anxiety, depression, grief, and attachment wounds.
Why work with an EMDR-trained therapist
EMDR follows a careful, structured process, and doing it well takes specialized training. We never jump straight into hard memories. First we build tools to help you feel calm and grounded, so you can go at a pace that feels safe.
I’m EMDR-trained, with basic training and multiple advanced trainings, and it’s the main framework I use. I pair it with attachment-focused work, which makes it especially helpful for attachment trauma.

Questions
Common questions
What is attachment trauma?
Attachment trauma comes from early relationships where you didn’t consistently get the safety, care, or attunement you needed. It can show up later as anxiety in relationships, people-pleasing, trouble trusting others, or a harsh inner critic. EMDR and attachment-focused work can help heal those patterns.
How long are sessions?
50 minutes, including the intake session.
How often will we meet?
Usually weekly to start, then every other week, and eventually monthly as things improve.
Do you offer online sessions?
Right now I see clients in person at my office in Mesa.
Who do you work with?
Adults 18 and up: men and women, parents and non-parents, in every season of life. I especially enjoy working with pregnant and postpartum moms. My specialties are attachment trauma and perinatal mental health.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes, with a few legal exceptions, such as a risk of serious harm. We’ll go over these together in your first session.
